报告简介:
报告1:There have been no breakthroughs in ferrous metallurgy
for the last 80 years. Automation and digitalization arrived, while the actual
steel making processes saw almost no changes. Today, almost all industries
experience rapid changes. In 2018 we will see a launch of trains that can
travel as fast as1,200 km/h. In 2022 we will see aircrafts capable of flying
from London to New York in 1 hour. They already know how to grow human arms and
legs. And driverless taxis have become extremely popular. Should we be
expecting to see a major breakthrough in metallurgy any time soon? In this
lecture you will learn about this and other problems, as well as possible ways
to solve them
报告2:Severe plastic deformation (SPD) is a very effective
way to create ultrafine grain structures in metals and alloys. Nowadays many
variants of SPD techniques are available. Asymmetric cold rolling, asymmetric
cryorolling and asymmetric accumulative roll bonding are the processes, which can provide SPD. Since these processes are continuous,
they have great potential for industrial production of large-scaled materials
with ultrafine grain structure. Shear strain and accumulated strain plays a
critical role in the grain refinement of the processed materials. It is well
known that the mechanism of SPD during asymmetric rolling processes comes from
its large accumulated strain, which is composed of compressive strain and
additional shear strain. For better understanding of a maximum possible level
of accumulated strain, generated during a single-pass asymmetric rolling, it is
necessary to simulate different rolling modes. In this presentation, the
influence of process parameters on shear strain and accumulated strain during
asymmetric cold rolling, asymmetric cryorolling and asymmetric
accumulative roll bonding is analysed by FEM and discussed. Special laboratory asymmetric
rolling machine is presented.
